VITAL NETWORK SERVICES INTRODUCES IPT MAINTENANCE SERVICE FOR CISCO UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS ENVIRONMENTS

Service Extends Beyond the Realm of Traditional Maintenance by Providing Customers with Automated Voice Alerts and Quarterly Certification Audits

TAMPA, Fla. -- October 30, 2007 -- VITAL Network Services, Inc., a multivendor provider of network lifecycle services, today announced the introduction of an IPT Maintenance service for Cisco® Unified Communications environments to its existing portfolio of IPT support services.  The new service, designed to support medium to large corporate enterprises that have deployed a Cisco Unified Communications solution, combines targeted troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures with specialized IP telephony knowledge to minimize the downtime customers experience when a problem occurs.

Available with 24x7x4 or 8x5x4 coverage options, VITAL’s IPT Maintenance service helps customers manage the complexities of the day-to-day operation of their IPT solution by extending their team with access to a centralized group of IPT engineers experienced in rapid identification and resolution of issues in Cisco Unified Communications environments.  Features of this service include remote technical support, parts dispatch of replacement hardware, onsite field support, automated voice alerts, critical patch notification, and quarterly certification audits.  Customers may also elect to have VITAL perform the remote administration of moves, adds, changes and deletes within their enterprise VoIP system.
